Description
This is my first mutation. It was going to be a mix of Tank rush! by WILLIAMS117™ and Gib fest, but evolved to something new. It's ideal with maps with big areas and scarce ammo. I tested it with Highway 17, Water hazard and Divine Cybermancy and it was fun.
Main characteristics:
- Survivors are equipped at every round start with a random melee weapon, M60 with unlimited ammo, laser sight and adrenaline. Also when revived, or rescued (if it's possible).
- The Tank rush event start 25 seconds after round start.
- They have random health except on easy difficulty.
- From time to time the mutation will spawn a green Tank with more health. While he is alive, all the Tanks have extra speed. If you don't kill him soon, another one could spawn after his death, but shouldn't be more than one at the same time.
- There aren't medkits nor pills, only defibs and adrenaline.
- Every Tank killed restore the health of the two survivors with less health and restore them from incapacitated state (there are no limit, no black and white). Only on easy difficulty, every Tank killed restores all the team. It happens when the Tank's death animation starts, not after.
- On Expert, a survivor is incapacitated with two hits and Tanks has less health compared with normal game mode, but it's still very hard as they can body block you, not like the sourcemod plugin.
To test:
- In servers with more than 4 players, don't know if every player gets their weapons. The Tanks must have 1000 health points for every extra player. If it doesn't work, let me know.
This mutation uses the great VSlib library by Rayman1103. The library is in a subfolder with a custom name so it shouldn't conflict with other addons using it.
